Not judging

But.

Really?

I love books and they are very decorative.

I now understand why a friend in NY (yes, you) absolutely loathes Bullard. And that was before this show. If he has been watching, he must be apoplectic by now.

Also wondering if Ireland is half the woman I imagine her to be. If she is, it won't be long before she gives that Factor woman a piece of her mind. Hefty commission or not.

Now playing: Martha Wash - Carry On

I cannot bring myself to watch a decorating "reality" show. The profession is in enough trouble as it is without spreading reinforcements of misconceptions and stereotypes. __ The Devoted Classicist

I agree, he's quite ghastly. I can't think why anyone would employ him; because he's a "sleb"?

I was wondering what you'd think of the show. I have to say, I love it.
I love that the decorators are collegial instead of backstabbing (I doubt it's the truth, but it makes for better television). I love that the clients are ridiculous and shallow but the decorators have artistic vision.

On the other hand, one can definitely have too much of that Bullard guy, and every minute spent on Jeffrey Alan Marks is a minute that should have been spent gazing in rapturous awe at his gorgeous boyfriend.

JJT-said that well. I will say- pity the small town South, barbarous or blessed-either beloved-I do not "get" Bravo! I only have the excerpts to rely on-Oddly I was watching some of these yesterday morning- and judge not-thou-plainly there is a sad lack of modesty-rampant I should say- on the show. pgt

Well said, John, and you.....
I don't have cable tv, so will not watch.
It does sound dreadful.
Am so fatigued of "reality" shows.

It's not that bad - for the most part the clients come off worse.

Except for Bullard. He's the vilest sort of suck-up.

My illusions about some of these have been shattered.

I find it utterly cringe-worthy.

I watched episode two and found it rubbish. Cannot abide the idea of being in the same room as them - even in the form of TV. Big egos and utter mediocrity!
