We had this song playing, and watched the movie during a book club evening at my house. I had never read Valley of the Dolls, and decided to pick it for Book Group. Good and Plenty candy (pills) , sunglasses and pearl necklaces festooned the dining table along. Cocktails were served, naturally! A good time was had by all, and then there was the slow spill into oblivion after too many cocktails.....a perfect ode!
