I once owned a pair of John Lobb for Hermès full brogue ghillies. I purchased them on-sale at Neiman Marcus in Dallas a couple of decades ago and felt immensely dapper wearing them. That being said, they were a size too small, so they were purely stand-and-model shoes. But I did love them. And regret that I ever gave them away.
They are fabulous shoes. My ex wouldn't have shoes from anywhere else xx
ReplyDeleteC - Not unlike my mother once fashion moved beyond her. Given the price some labels are charging, Lobb no longer seems that out of reach.
